Novant Health Appel and Wormer Plastic Surgery specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery, dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered care. Our team is renowned for its expertise in advanced surgical techniques and innovative treatments, supported by a commitment to personalized, compassionate care.

We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with a keen interest in microsurgery, focusing on breast reconstruction, as well as cosmetic surgery. A microsurgery fellowship is not required, making this dynamic practice an ideal position for candidates eager to apply their skills in both reconstructive and aesthetic procedures within a supportive and resource-rich environment.

Desired skills include breast, body, and facial procedures and care including Implant and autologous reconstruction after mastectomy and lumpectomy, breast reduction, panniculectomy/abdominoplasty, repair of facial, trunk and perineal defects. Qualifications

Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
  • Completion of an accredited residency program required
  • For specialty physicians - completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
  • Current MD license in appropriate state
  • Board certification or eligibility
  • Current DEA license required
