Job Description
- 250-bed academic community hospital and designated ACS and State of Arizona Level I Adult/Level II Pediatric Trauma/Level I Burn Center.
- Urban teaching hospital with a fully accredited ACGME General Surgery Residency, with the Plastic Surgery Division accepting resident rotators from the Mayo Clinic.
- Faculty partner in the Creighton University Medical School educational alliance.
- Additionally, medical center has approved plans and funding to build a new hospital in accordance with a voter approved bond.
- The new facility is scheduled for completion in June 2024.
This position will assist in developing the clinical service line, providing inpatient and outpatient general plastic and reconstructive surgery services in the elective and emergent care settings, sharing call coverage, and teaching residents. The candidate should be comfortable with a team approach for patient management. The candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in collaborative research activities and most importantly developing and growing plastic surgery services.
