Job Title: Plastic Surgeon (Aesthetics & Skin Cancer)

We are seeking an experienced Plastic Surgeon with a strong focus on aesthetic procedures and dermatologic surgery, particularly in breast and body work as well as skin cancer treatments. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving practice and galvanize the breast and body aesthetic services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Specialize in breast and body aesthetic procedures, as well as dermatology-related surgeries, particularly skin cancer.
  • Perform cosmetic procedures and build up to 14 cases per month.
  • Collaborate with a robust, multi-disciplinary team including dermatologists, estheticians, and support staff.
  • Optional on-call responsibilities at two local hospitals, with competitive compensation for any call coverage provided.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Plastic Surgeon (no new graduates).
  • Strong expertise in breast and body aesthetics.
  • Ability to take an active role in building the breast and body aesthetics service line.
  • Board-certified in Plastic Surgery.

On-Call Information:

  • Credentialing available at two hospitals with flexible call participation.
    • Hospital 1: Minimum of 4 calls per month if credentialed.
    • Hospital 2: No minimum call requirements, optional for additional compensation.

Compensation:

  • Base salary of $350,000 annually.
  • 25% commission on collections over $1 million.
  • Earning potential based on collections:
    • Billing $2.6 million results in an estimated $750,000 annual income.
    • Billing $3.2 million results in an estimated $1,150,000 annual income.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, with surgery start times between 7:30-8:00 AM and finish times around 3:30-4:00 PM.

Support Staff:

  • 40 full-time staff members to provide operational and clinical support.
  • 2 dedicated plastic surgery coordinators (one for each surgeon).
  • 6 estheticians, 2 massage therapists, 2 dermatologists, and 1 nurse dedicated to the plastic surgery team.
  • 4 full-time registered nurses, along with additional operational personnel.
