Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) and IU Health Physicians are recruiting a Board Certified/Board Eligible Plastic Surgeon to join our experienced team! This surgeon will help manage breast reconstruction and gender affirming surgery cases within two hospitals located in the Indianapolis suburban area. In close coordination with our Breast Surgical Oncology team, we strive to provide optimal care to our patients. Position Details:

  • The position will primarily focus on breast reconstructive surgery, gender affirmation surgery and general plastic cases
  • Surgical scope includes, but is not limited to, masculinizing & feminizing chest surgery, breast reductions, panniculectomies
  • Vested interest in serving the transgender and non-binary patient population
  • Shared call
  • Comfortable working with Advanced Practice Providers
  • Interest in educating medical students and residents

Qualifications:

  • MD, DO or equivalent degree
  • BC/BE in Plastic Surgery
  • Training in gender affirmation surgery is preferred
  • Eligible for licensure in Indiana
