Work Load:

  • 5 x 8 hours shifts or, 4 x10 hour shifts
  • 1-2 days per week in clinic, 8-12 patients per day.
  • 2-3 days per week in the surgical center with 2-4 cases per day
  • Inpatient consult rotations, if needed.
  • 8-10 days per month of very light consult call coverage.
  • Support from a full hospitalist team and residents

Comp & Benefits:

  • Potential starting base salary range: $375,000 - $400,000

Requirements:

  • At least 1 state active medical license; no revoked, suspended, probation state licensures
  • An MD or DO from an ACGME accredited institution; or evidence of an ECFMG certificate.
  • Completion of Residency Training.
  • Board Eligible in Neurosurgery Medicine
  • Selective Service Registration is for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Non-ACGME residencies: must provide ECFMG and proof of 5 years residency, fellowship, and/or relevant practice experience in the USA in the field you are applying.

Preferences :

  • U.S. Citizenship; in accordance with VA Policy, non-citizens may be considered if no qualified US citizens are selected.
  • Board Certified in Neurosurgery Medicine
  • Resident and Fellows Teaching experience
  • Most recent past 3 years providing NeuroSpine services in a United States health system.

Hiring Process (as quickly as 6-14 weeks)

Working Hours

We offer a truly work/life balance accommodating Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm work schedule. This can be modified to 4 10's or 7:30am - 4pm, etc, based on candidate and service chief preference.
