- Compensation: $586,291 - $1.030,694 annually depending on experience.
Responsibilities
Minimum:
- Joining a group of 4 providers (1 Neurosurgeon), DO, PA and an NP
- Spine and Cranial Neurosurgery
- 200-300 cases annually possible based on surgeons expertise and assessment.
- 7-10 patients per day when in clinic
- Average surgery days range from 2-3 days per week and 2 days in clinic.
- Anterior cervical discectomy, epilepsy neurosurgery, Chiara decompression, craniotomy, lumbar puncture and laminectomy.
- Shared monthly and provides consultation to hospital staff.
- Perform surgeries, meet w/patients to interpret MRIs, CTs and PET scans to assess the patient and decide on a surgical plan. Work on research and clinical trials. Provide consultations.
Requirements:
- Completion of a residency and a fellowship in Neurosurgery, in ACGME approved programs
- Current BC/BE
- Valid state medical license as MD or DO
- Valid DEA certificate
- New grad or experienced
