- Trauma Level Designation: Level III
- Active MD state license required
- Must be Board Certified
- Minimum # Years Experience: 3
- Requirement Notes: Need 10 - 15 shifts per month
- DEA Required
- Certifications Required: BLS
- CSR License Required
- Coverage Need: 24-Hour trauma coverage
- Types of Calls: Telephone; 30min Response
- Providers Typical Day: 24 hour trauma coverage. Must be available to cover ED and trauma.
- Average Admissions While On Call: 1-3
- Other Job Notes: Low volume call, AVG Patient Census 4-5 patients, AVG Number of Calls per Night: less than 5 phone calls between the hours of 7p-7a, AVG Number of Consults per Night: maybe 1-2 over a 3-day period, Rounding requirements: less than 10 patients
