We are hiring a locum Neurosurgeon for 24/hr coverage on a 7 on 7 off schedule!

• Start: 01/08/2024 - Ongoing
• Schedule: 24/7 On Call for 7 days in a row (1 week assignment at a time). 7 on 7 off
  
• Call rotation: 24/7
• EMR: EPIC
• Provider will function like a Neurosurgery Hospitalist who will cover 24/7 call for hospital and ED.
• Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: 1-3 per week emergently
• Patient Age Demographic: No Peds or Adolescent. Only Adults
• Procedures required: Neurosurgery Cases ADULT, Neurosurgery Cases TRAUMA, Tumor Removal, Brain Bleed Stoppage, Trauma Repair, Stereotactic Radiosurgery, EVD, brain swelling, if vascular skills great, Shunt Insertion or Revision
• Endovascular procedures: preferred
• Peripheral Nerve Surgery Procedures: Carpal Tunner Release (Prefeerred)
• Spine Surgery Procedure: Diskectomy, Laminectomy, Spine Stabilization and Reconstruction, Spinal Fusion, Vertebroplasty and Kyphoplasty, Trauma of spine essential. Others only if urgently needed.
• Neurosurgical Critical Care Procedures (Critical care Physician does these procedures): Placement of lumbar drains, CSF Sampling from Shunts or External Ventricular Drains, Management and Interpretation of ICP and CPP Data, External Ventricular Drain Management
• Additional procedures: Stabilization of head and spine trauma, Brain evacuation with brain swelling/ fluid, Craniotomies as needed.

• Board Certified in Neurosurgery
• Fellowship Training - preferred
• MI License ( or willing to obtain)

• Hourly rate: $3600/24 hr W2 and $4080/24hr 1099
