  • Desired start date: ASAP.
  • Replacement position, high demand and only one existing neurosurgeon
  • Must be Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible through the ABNS
  • Schedule: 2 days in clinic, 2 days in OR, 1 flex day.
  • Clinic: Average 8 to 12 patients per day, with additional patients from 3-4 PAs.
  • ER call: 7 days per month, with imaging review from home and minimal in-person requirements. Very hit or miss - in general the surgeon does not have to go in. They look at images from home and let them know whether or not to admit the patient. Floor calls go to PAs.
  • Call coverage: Likely one weekend per month.
  • Practice setting: Inpatient, outpatient, clinic.
  • Facility Trauma Level: 3.
  • General Neurosurgery position with the opportunity to build a strong elective spine practice in an underserved community.
  • Join an established, collegial team consisting of one Neurosurgeon and four experienced APPs.
  • Clinic co-located with pain service and on-site X-ray.
  • Neuro-navigation tools including Globus Robot and Stryker available.
  • Documentation System/EMR: EPIC.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary range: $800,000-$877,000 annually
  • Relocation package may be offered to eligible candidates.
