Seeking a Neurosurgeon to join their collaborative team!
Great hybrid practice with the combined benefits of private and academic practice
With steady growth over the past five years and two neurosurgeons retiring, this is a terrific opportunity to walk into a very busy practice. Candidates will find a tremendous level of cooperation and support by neurosurgical colleagues. Interests in spine, neurosurgical oncology and/or skull base work will be well supported within the context of a general neurosurgery position. New graduates and experienced candidates alike are encouraged to apply. Mentorship is readily available
The Medical School offers training in 10 residency and 14 fellowship programs with over 250 residents/fellows on campus working alongside 450 providers in 75 areas of primary and specialty care
Practice Highlights:
* Starting salary of $875K plus RVU bonus, call pay and sign-on bonus
* Current neurosurgery staff making over $1mil
* Hospital and neurosurgery team have an especially collegial relationship
* Five APPs in the department assist in surgery, clinic, and take call on Saturdays
* Level II trauma center
* Call is 1:4 and consultative in nature
* 80/20 mix of spine and cranial work
* 150 cases anticipated in year one with more than 250 once established
* Block OR time
* Equipment includes Medtronic Stealth Navigation, O-Arm, Mazor Spine Robot, C-Arm, Zeiss Microscope
* Academic faculty appointment
* Supportive administration that focuses on physician well-being
