Seeking Board Certified General Surgeon to assist established single specialty group

-24 hour call coverage for vacation. Locum will not be doing clinic

-One weekend per month - Friday 7 AM to Monday 7 AM

- to cover May 10-12, and monthly starting Sept 20-22, Oct 25-27, Nov 15-17, Dec 6-8 and possibly into 2020.

• LEVEL 3 Trauma- Very rarely see any trauma
• Acute trauma can be sent to a nearby Level 2 facility
• 3 other General Surgeons are on staff
• surgical cases 5-10 per doc per week
• typical type of cases seen: Appendectomies, cholecystectomies, hemorrhoids, abscesses, skin lesions, hernia repairs, exploratory laparotomies
• EMR – Athena (office) / McKesson Paragon (Hospital)
• No endoscopy required – GI docs do that
• (Medical Staff Services will schedule orientation)
