Job Opportunity: Orthopaedic Surgeon - Hand Surgery

Join a dedicated healthcare team in a well-established outpatient and inpatient facility located in Richland, WA. This practice focuses on Orthopedic Hand Surgery, offering a supportive environment for a physician dedicated to enhancing patient care. The clinic is equipped for in-office elective procedures and manages both surgical and non-surgical cases as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform surgeries and manage treatment for hand and upper extremity conditions.
• Provide care to surgical and non-surgical patients in a busy clinic setting.
• Respond to general orthopedic management during on-call hours.
• Participate in the provision and administration of all necessary hospital privileges for general orthopedics.
• Engage in office-based elective procedures as applicable.
• Maintain up-to-date EMR documentation using Epic.
• Ensure patient follow-up and ongoing care as required.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Completion of a fellowship in Hand Surgery is preferred.
• Strong surgical skills with a focus on hand and upper extremity procedures.
• Ability to manage a high volume of patient encounters effectively.
• Experience in an outpatient practice setting.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active medical license in Washington state is required.
• Hospital privileges must be obtained prior to starting the position.
