About this role:
As an Advanced Practice Provider in Neurosurgery, you will work with a collaborative team of three neurosurgeons and six other APPs committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role, you will engage in a diverse workflow that includes surgical assist, inpatient rounding, and outpatient clinic visits with opportunities for professional growth.
- You will practice at Intermountain Health St. George Regional Hospital
- Your schedule will be 4 10-hour shifts
- You’ll work two days in clinic and two days in hospital
- Call is 1:6 nights and 1:7 full weekend
- Relocation assistance available (if applicable)
In addition:
- Work alongside neurosurgeons while also seeing patients independently in clinic
- Round on inpatients independently and in conjunction with a supervising physician
- Assess, evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients with neurological conditions
- Educate patients on conditions, treatment options, and risk factor modifications

What you’ll bring:
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- Licensed as PA or NP in the state of Utah or able to obtain
- Board certification by AANP, ANCC or NCCPA
- Current BLS for healthcare providers
- DEA and full prescriptive authority in Utah
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
Preferred Qualifications
- Surgical or neurosurgery rotation, strong clinical skills, and comfort in high-acuity settings. Open to new grads eager to learn and grow in neurosurgery.
