- Coverage Needed:
- As soon as credentialed - ongoing
- 5 to 7 days every other month coverage needed
- Daily Shift: 7am -7pm, Nights: 7pm - 7am, Weekends: 24 hour
- Clinical Information:
- Coverage for stroke patients
- Daily Patient Volume: 20
- EMR: EPIC
- Comprehensive Stroke Center
- 24h interventional stroke call coverage, no IR call coverage
- Associated carotid/cerebral stenting as needed during Thrombectomy (facility uses 24/7 TeleSpecialist for acute stroke coverage in ED & RAPID software)
- No in house requirement for stroke call: will get call/text from neurology or ED physician- interventionalist will discuss case/review imaging and page/call in angio team (<30 min response time)
- Need Interventionalist, not Neurology
- Required:
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
- Current Flu Vaccine
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
- Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
- Board Certified
- Case Logs: need to see 15 thrombectomies in last 12 months or 30 in last 24 months
