  • Other Details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 4 is looking for a provider to cover beeper call only. There are an average of 3 patients per shift. A General Surgery opportunity is available, requiring candidates with no data bank reportable or malpractice issues. The facility has a 14-bed Emergency Department, handling approximately 2,500 visits per month.

Job Responsibilities

- Provide beeper call coverage for the stroke-certified, Level 4 trauma facility.
- Manage an average of three patients per shift, addressing urgent and emergent surgical cases.
- Collaborate with emergency department staff to ensure timely and effective patient care.
- Perform necessary general surgical procedures as required.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.

Qualifications

-License: An active Texas state license is required.
