Summary

Surgical cases are performed at Medical Center Midland with offices located directly on campus, making it convenient for both staff and patients alike.


Responsibilities

Full time BC/BE experienced neurosurgeon or graduating resident or fellow.

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical and technical skills with experience in the latest neurosurgical techniques. The recruitment focus is in operative general neurosurgery however we are prepared to support and nurture subspecialty clinical interests. Functional neurosurgery opportunities are available through Gamma Knife surgery, deep brain stimulation and vagus nerve stimulation.

This broad based neurosurgical practice includes spine, cranial and peripheral nerve surgery. A full range of state-of-the-art equipment is available including neuro-navigation and stereotactic radiosurgery. Additionally, functional neurosurgery opportunities are available through Gamma Knife surgery, deep brain stimulation and vagus nerve stimulation.

Certifications and Licensures

Board Certified or Eligible in Neurosurgery

Active State of Michigan License or eligible to apply


Required Education

Successful completion of an ACGME approved residency
