We are urgently seeking a Board-Certified General Surgeon for an exciting locum tenens opportunity in Tennessee. This position offers 24-hour call coverage, competitive compensation, and a supportive environment with a wide range of surgical services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 24-hour general surgery call coverage, including ER call and unattached patient needs.
• Perform inpatient and outpatient surgeries, including appendectomies, cholecystectomies, and hernioplasties.
• Cover the clinic for surgical consultations and follow-up care for patients.
• Handle acute care needs, including trauma (Level 4 facility).
• Maintain hospital privileges and provide comprehensive care to patients under facility guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in General Surgery.
• Active Tennessee or IMLC Medical License.
• ACLS Certification required.
• Experience in Level 4 trauma care and proficiency in general surgery procedures such as laparoscopic and abdominal surgeries.
• Ability to work solo with one additional general surgeon on staff.
