Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active IL License
• ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
• Required Skills: General Surgery (adult), GI endoscopy
• Preferred Skills: Laparoscopic Surgery (Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Hernioplasty, Nissen Fundoplication), Breast surgery, Liver surgery, GI endoscopy (upper, lower, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy), Ventilation management, Chest tube insertion, Central line insertion, Vascular Surgery (Thoracic, Abdominal)
  • Additional Preferred Procedures for Physicians Trained as Pediatric Surgeons: Artesias (Intestinal, Biliary), Abdominal wall defects (Gastroschisis), Umbilical defects (Hernia, Omphalocele), Diaphragmatic hernia, Imperforate anus, PDA ligation
