Responsibilities:
- Assess and stabilize patients
- Performing surgeries
- Help patients navigate treatment options
- Oversee patient recovery
- Teach medical students, general surgery residents and fellows
- Opportunities to participate in research through the well-developed trauma research division
Requirements:
- MD degree
- Board certified/eligible in Surgery and Surgical Critical Care
- Valid New York State License
- DEA
- Medicaid number
- Strong clinical abilities, teaching experience, communication and interpersonal skills
