I am working with Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg, VA and they are looking for some temporary General Surgery coverage over the next several months. I wanted to touch base with you to see if you might have any availability to help out. This facility is looking for coverage February ongoing
24 hour call shifts with four hours of gratis
The facility will need one week of coverage per month
These are the dates the facility needs coverage for as of right now:
February 3-10
April 21-28
May 12-19
June 2-9
July 14-21
This facility will need still coverage August ongoing, but dates are TBD as of right now
Adults only
We do not have an actual estimate of the patient load per day and are awaiting this answer from the facility

Required Procedures: General Surgical Cases, Laser Certification, Chest Wall/Pleural Procedures, Central Line Insertion, PA, Catheter Placement, Ventilation Management, Chest Tube Insertion, Aneurysm repairs, Abdominal, Peripheral, Vascular Access Devices, AV Shunt, Cholecystectomy, Nissen Fundoplication , Hernioplasty, Upper, Lower, Sigmoidoscopy & Colonoscopy.

Candidates must be Board Certified or truly Board Eligible
Candidates must have an active Virginia license
Candidates must have active ACLS and BLS CPR certifications
$2500 per 24 hour call including four hours of gratis
