Locums Physician Assistant - General Surgery- Coos Bay, OR Rate

Assignment Dates Locums to Permanent, full-time position Coverage Need Reason for coverage: Permanent placement to support Surgical Services Position Details Shift options: Four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts Specialties covered: Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, ENT Responsibilities: - Assist in surgery and room turnover - Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within scope of practice - Provide direct patient care and support for surgical services - Maintain sterile techniques and effective communication Physical requirements: - Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds - Requires fine motor skills and adequate reaction time for patient care Submissions Requirements Board-certified Physician Assistant Active OR license or willingness to obtain Minimum 2 years of Orthopedic PA work experience (excluding training) Ties to Oregon (e.g., family or prior residency in the state): Required Skill Requirements Experience with surgical procedures and operative support Effective communication and customer-service orientation Knowledge of proper sterile techniques and OR protocols
