Position Overview: Orthopedic Hand Surgeon - Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL - Full-time, permanent position - Employed opportunity Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join its award-winning Orthopedic Institute. Position Highlights Specialty Focus: - Evaluation and management of conditions involving the arm, forearm, wrist, and hand. - Opportunities to work with advanced technologies in orthopedic surgery. Call Responsibilities: - General orthopedic call is required, shared among team members. - Compensation is provided for call coverage. - Team Collaboration: Join a robust team of 16 physicians and 10 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Qualifications Education: - Fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Hand Surgery. - Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency. Certification: - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery. Experience: - Experienced candidates are preferred, but recent fellowship graduates are encouraged to apply. Licensure: - Eligibility for medical licensure in Florida. Technological Leadership: - First to use MAKOplasty for partial knee resurfacing and total hip replacement in South Florida. - Pioneers in sensor-assisted knee replacement surgery and percutaneous tenotomy technology. Commitment to Education: - Hosts the first Shoulder and Elbow Fellowship in the nation. - Surgeons actively design next-generation knee and shoulder implants.
