Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a variety of conditions requiring surgical intervention, including trauma, abdominal, and soft tissue surgeries.
- Perform general surgical procedures, including both elective and emergency surgeries.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower endoscopy.
- Prescribe and oversee post-operative care, including pain management and recovery plans.
- Educate patients on pre- and post-operative care and preventative health measures.
- Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Order, interpret, and perform diagnostic tests as needed.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records and documentation.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
- Completion of a Residency in General Surgery.
- Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and technical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
