Central Montana Medical Center is seeking a skilled General Surgeon to join our team in Lewistown, MT. Partnered with our current full-time general surgeon, you will provide comprehensive surgical care, performing a wide range of procedures to meet the diverse needs of our Central Montana patient population.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat a variety of conditions requiring surgical intervention, including trauma, abdominal, and soft tissue surgeries.
  • Perform general surgical procedures, including both elective and emergency surgeries.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower endoscopy.
  • Prescribe and oversee post-operative care, including pain management and recovery plans.
  • Educate patients on pre- and post-operative care and preventative health measures.
  • Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Order, interpret, and perform diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
  • Completion of a Residency in General Surgery.
  • Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and technical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
