Cardiovascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner Locums Job in Northern California

Description/Requirements for Assignment #106031
* Active California license and Certification required
* Start date: ASAP start once credentialed for 3-6 months
* CV Surgery Post Operative Care
* Must be ACLS Certified
* Seeking four 10 hours or three 12 hour shifts each week
* Coverage needed ongoing for at least 3-6 months
* No Call required
* Required Procedures: Remove Chest tubes and Epicardial wires (will train if needed)
* Will help to support 3 surgeons and can expect 2 cases per day
* EMR Cerner
* Admissions per day: Transfers from Cardiac Surgery ICU 1-3 per day
* Patients/day: Averages 6-12 patients per day with length of stay 5-7 days
* Types of cases: Post op cardiac surgery
* Seeking up to full-time coverage; considering candidates with a minimum of 1 week available per month
* No ECMO experience required
* One other full-time NP currently working there that you would collaborate on the shared schedule with
