We are hiring a locum General Surgeon in east Virginia for an ongoing call coverage!

Job details:

• Start: As soon as credentialed (January start date)

• Shifts: 3 to 4 consecutive days per coverage needed. Majority being Friday - Monday and occasional Weekday coverage

• Average number of surgical cases per day: 3 - 4

• Procedures required: General Surgical Cases ADULT, General Surgical Cases TRAUMA.

• Laparoscopic Surgery: Cholecystectomy, Hernioplasty

• Patient Age Demographic: Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric

Job Requirements:

• Board Certification

• VA License

• ACLS and BLS
