We are seeking a Locums General Surgery Physician to provide coverage in Midlothian, VA. This position involves both clinical and hospital care, with a variety of surgical cases. The physician will spend four hours in clinical time each day and provide 24-hour hospital coverage. The typical schedule includes 3 to 4 consecutive days of coverage, with a call schedule from 7 AM to 7 AM.

The physician will be responsible for managing 2 to 5 surgical cases per day. Procedures will include general surgical cases for pediatric, adult, and trauma patients. Additionally, the physician must be proficient in laparoscopic surgeries such as cholecystectomy and hernioplasty.

Requirements:

• ACLS
• BLS
• Board Certified

• Active Virginia medical licenses
