Medical Center is seeking a Chair of Surgery who is motivated to build a high-quality surgical team to support our community and our 300,000+ patient referral base in the Southern Tier of New York.
Details:
- The Candidate should be board-certified in a Surgical specialty and with some leadership experience.
- The role would need to improve workflows, develop efficient processes, participate in recruiting, and be an engaged leader to develop and achieve strategic objectives.
- The candidate should have a strong focus on patient satisfaction and quality improvement and demonstrate teamwork in an environment of professionalism and encouragement.
- The position would oversee the employed surgical divisions of General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Urology, Otolaryngology, Plastic Surgery and Gynecology.
- An experienced surgeon with leadership experience in any of those specialties would be desired.
- Candidates with a passion for teaching are of special interest.
- Convenient outpatient offices located on or near the hospital campus in our modern multi-specialty medical office building.
