Opening for General Surgery Physician in MN Opportunity in Virginia, MN Duluth 65m, Minneapolis 200m Full Time Permanent Position Employed Opportunity H1 Visa Sponsored - Multi-specialty physician group: IM, MDA, General Surgery, OB/GYN, Ortho, Dermatology, Podiatry, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Occ Med, Family Medicine plus numerous visiting Health Duluth Clinic specialists - Established practice with 4 experienced general surgeons and 3 APPs; APPs assist with wound care - Call 1:5 - DaVinci XI robot on-site - Beds-6 ICU, 10 Telemetry Step Down, 4 OB, 2 Peds, and 16 Med Surg - Broad-based general surgery practice includes endoscopy, colonoscopy (no C-sections) - Surgical Services and Admissions at Regional Medical Center - Support six surrounding Essentia community clinics About the area: On the Trail, the city of Virginia is located 60 miles north of Duluth and 100 miles south of the Canadian border. Two major highways, Hwy 53 running north and south, and Hwy 169 running east and west serve this community. Virginia has natural scenic beauty and many mining attractions and festivals.
