About this role:
As a Physician in General Surgery, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience at a Level I Trauma Center. In this role you will perform on hernia operations, breast cancer surgeries, laparoscopic appendectomies’, foregut, gallbladders and emergency surgeries.
· This position includes a $30,000 sign-on bonus, up to $20,000 in relocation assistance based upon distance, a generous salary plus, production incentive and an annual bonus incentive based on continuous improvement
· You will practice at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT with 2 days in clinic and 2 days in the OR
· Call is 1 in 5

What you’ll bring:
· MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine, required
· ACGME Residency training in General Surgery, required
· Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery or Abdominal Wall Reconstruction is a plus
· Proficiency in robotic surgery required; Robotic Certification is plus
· Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery, required
· Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one, required
· Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process, required

Life in the Murray, UT
Murray City is centrally located in the Salt Lake Valley about 8 miles south of Salt Lake City. Murray has a population of about 50,000, its own school district with excellent, schools known for safe high-quality education.
