Job Summary:

Midstate Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center in Alexandria, LA is seeking an orthopedic trauma surgeon to join their multidisciplinary team at Rapides Regional Medical Center.

Qualified Candidates:
  • Orthopedic trauma fellowship training required
  • Ideal candidate will be comfortable with a large volume of complex trauma-operative cases including pelvis/acetabulum, periarticular fractures, upper and lower extremity.
  • Board-eligible or certified
  • Shared call schedule with 7 nights per month expected at Level 2 trauma center
  • Elective practice allowed/encouraged at candidate’s discretion
  • Orthopedic Trauma surgical block established
