Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University (TJUH) in Philadelphia, is seeking an Adult Cardiac Surgeon to join our growing academic adult cardiac surgery practice at the Assistant or Associate Professor Level. As part of our Cardiothoracic team, you will be involved in busy, growing, and quality-focused practice encapsulating a broad spectrum of adult cardiothoracic surgery including advanced valve repair, robotic and minimally invasive surgery, and complex cardiac surgeries,

The Cardiothoracic Surgery Division provides services exclusively to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and Abington Hospital. The practice includes an active heart transplant program based at TJUH and assist device programs (including Destination Therapy Programs) at both sites. Surgical procedures including, TAVR, LVAD’s, MitraClip, minimally invasive valve surgery, complex aortic surgery, endovascular stent grafting for thoracic aortic disease and advance heart failure treatments.

Ideal candidate will have two years of experience, and qualified new graduates are welcome to apply. Proficient in all aspects of adult cardiac surgery, including minimally invasive procedures and structural heart.
