HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BE/BC General Surgeon to join our established, growing orthopedic practice in Effingham, Illinois. Position Details:
- Monday – Friday clinic schedule with option of 4 day work week
- 7 days per month of hospital call
- Minimal after hours clinic call
- EPIC EMR
- Dedicated support staff with RN First Assist
- Robotics available for surgical cases
Position Requirements:
- Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- M.D., D.O., or professional equivalent degree
Pay Range: $466,975 - $582,878
Education Qualifications
- Clinical doctorate is required.
Experience Qualifications
- Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
- Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.
- Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
- Must be board certified or board eligible.
