A hospital network in Rockland County is currently seeking a General Surgeon to join a surgical practice at the hospital.
About the opportunity:
Hours: Monday through Friday 8-4:30
Specialty: General Surgery
On-call schedule: Shared with 4 physicians
Responsibilities:
General Surgeon will:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, develop comprehensive surgical plans, and provide follow-up care to monitor recovery and manage complications
- Execute a variety of surgical interventions, including but not limited to abdominal, gastrointestinal, and emergency surgeries, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including anesthesiologists, nurses, and specialists, to ensure cohesive patient care and effective communication throughout the surgical process.
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a Surgery Residency
- Board eligible or Board certified
- Licensed to practice in the state of New York
- 2025 graduates or advanced surgical fellows welcome to apply
