MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center is looking for call coverage + inpatient rounds.
Provider must be available to cover the dates below:
November 16 (am) - December 1 (am)
Details:
- 24 hour coverage + inpatient rounds
- Hospital setting
- About 1 case per day + potential emergencies. *TAVR days are on Wednesdays
- Will be supervising 1 PRN CT Surgery APP
- Trauma level 2
- Annual ER volume 30,000 or 80 per day
- 14 patients/day for clinic; 6 patients/day for hospital
- Average number of trauma cases/day: 10
- Average number of elective cases/day: 2
- 120+ beds
- 24 ICU beds
- 2 dedicated CVOR rooms, dedicated CVOR team, dedicated APP to manage inpatients and clinic follow ups, dedicated clinic nurse
- EMR: Cerner
- Patient demographic: adult
- Provider working solo
- Typical/Required Procedures: Adult cardiac surgery, trauma, ventricular aneurysmectomy, general thoracic surgery, Coronary artery bypass surgery, CABG on pump, valve repair and replacement, maze on pump, maze minimally invasive (mini maze)
- Will pay for full travel
- Clean background (Necessary for quick privileging - no license reprimands but malpractice OK)
- Board Certified
- Active IA license (No longer accepting IMLC or non-licensed candidates)
- IA DEA
- Available: November 16 (am) - December 1 (am)
- Cerner experience - Highly Preferred
- Provider must be very experienced, no new grads
