TeamHealth is looking for exceptional general surgeons to join our trauma, acute care general surgery program at Hendrick Medical Center, a level III trauma center in Abilene, Texas! To attract the best, we make sure surgeons have manageable caseloads and the right resources to provide high-quality patient care. Qualifications:
- Trauma/surgical critical care fellowship preferred
- Board certified by the American Board of Surgery or Osteopathic board certification
- Active or in-process Texas medical license
- Willing to relocate to the Abilene area
- Work 7 days on/7 days off
- Back up call coverage
- Support from advanced practice clinicians
- Moderate trauma with a variety of cases
- Evaluation of all trauma and emergency general surgery consults
- Outpatient follow-up in clinic
- Round on in-house patients
