Seeking a skilled General Surgeon to join our team to fill a locum tenens need.

Specializing in acute care and trauma surgery. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a wide range of general surgical procedures and be prepared to respond to surgical needs at any time.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily rounds on patients admitted to the general surgery or trauma service.
• Handle all consults received during the assignment.
• Be available for operating room duties as needed.
• 24hr shift Fri-Mon (7a-7a) {lease let us know number of shift/date availability.

Schedule/Availability Requirements:

• Feb 14 – Feb 16; 7a – 7a

• Feb 21 – Feb 23; 7a – 7a

• Feb 28 – Mar 02; 7a – 7a

REQUIRED:

· NE state license active, unrestricted, IMLC (LOQ in hand)

· Board Certified- General Surgery or Truly Board Eligible

· Case log from the previous 12 months of at least 100 surgical procedures of different scope and variety as to what is being requested, including trauma.

· Current ATLS certification.

COMPENSATION:

· Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing and transportation needs, etc.)
