Schedule
- 7p-7a
- 2 x 12 hour shifts per week
Clinical Details
- Inpatient, daily rounding, new consults & admits
- 6-12 patients per day
- Level 2 Adult Trauma
- APP will not be working autonomously
- Patient Age Demographic: Treat/stabilize patients from birth to death. Approx. 5% ped, 35% adult, 60% geriatric
Requirements
- Board Certified
- Active OH License and DEA
- BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS
- Training or Experience Required (Must have previous experience in trauma. Will not accept new grads)
- Procedures: Suturing Minor Lacerations, Responding to the ED for Trauma Alerts, Surgical Consultations, ER Admissions, Facilitating Discharges, House Codes - Rapid Response Team, Completion of FAST exams at the bedside, reporting off to oncoming APP, general surgery coverage 5p-7a on weekdays and for full 24 hours on weekends.
