Seeking BC/BE Emergency General Surgeon to join practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico
Overview:
- Single Specialty Group
- Join a surgery team of 4 physicians, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 5 Physician Assistants, and Support Staff
- 15 shifts per month, 12 hours each (7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.), scheduled based on surgeon requests
- Combination of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts required
- Onsite Testing and Procedure Room available
- Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support available daily during 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. shifts
- Surgeon responsible for all emergency room and inpatient surgical consults during their shift
- Post-op patient follow-up conducted at downtown general surgery outpatient clinic
- Scheduled for 1 to 2 outpatient clinics per month
- EMR: Epic
