Specific Skills Required:
Proficient in a wide range of general surgery procedures including but not limited to appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty, and Nissen Fundoplication
Skilled in laparoscopic surgery and able to perform complex head/neck, chest wall/pleural, and breast surgeries
Obstetric and gynecological surgery skills, including Cesarean sections, D&C, and hysterectomy
Experience in upper and lower GI endoscopy, including abilities to handle emergencies like stopping a bleed or clearing food bolus obstruction
Vascular surgery skills including aneurysm repairs, arterial bypass, and managing vascular access devices
Capable of performing minor orthopedics, hand surgery, and managing central lines and chest tubes
Expertise in critical care procedures like ventilation management
Work Schedule:
Call coverage from December 24, 2024, 7 AM to January 3, 2025, 7 AM
