**Locums - NP Orthopedic Trauma Surgery - Camp Hill, PA - Call Only**
* Located in Camp Hill, PA
* Coverage: Sept. 1st, 2024 - March 1st, 2025

* Inpatient
* Admissions Required
* EMR: Cerner
* Patients per shift: 5-10
* 12-30 Beds in Department
* Rounding required
* Assist in OR and respond to ED pages
* 2 APPs on during the day, 1 at night
* Number of traumas can vary daily
* Trauma Level 2 facility
* Stroke Certified facility
Call Details:
* Call Type: In-House, 1 hr response time
* Call Ratio: 5-25
* Call Back %: 60
* Avg Call # Per 24 Hr - 20 Phone Consults, 10 patients seen and 2-5 Admissions
Requirements:
* Board Certified/Board Eligible
* Active Pennsylvania license required (no IMLC)
* ACLS certification
* Clean History
Skills Required:
* Suturing
* Comfortable performing fracture reductions
* Comfortable being independent then calling Trauma or Orthopaedic surgeons for backup
* Experience as an OR assistant
