◊ Dates needed: 24hr weekend call coverage Fridays through Sunday 7a-7a through 2024 & potentially longer
◊ Vaccination requirements: first 2 COVID vaccines & flu vaccines

◊ Call Schedule / Responsibilities: Call only, 24 hr. weekend call. We have APPs during the day on the weekend. The docs usually go over the list with the APPs either in person or over the phone, 1st thing in the am. The locums will complete consultations with the APPs again, sometimes in person and sometimes over the phone. After 7p the surgeon is by themselves. Call back is usually approx. 5-8 hours per 24 hours.
◊ What specific procedures are required: spinal fusion for trauma, craniotomy for trauma, EVD, ICP monitor. Helpful skills would be ED surgical and clinical in-house patient coverage, ICU trauma and stroke management. 5 years of neurosurgery experience preferred.

◊ Daily Rate for clinic: N/A (24hr call only)
◊ Night call rates (5pm-8am): N/A (F 7a – M 7a)
◊ Overtime weeknight call: N/A
◊ Credentialing Time frame – All files are 90–120-day processing, provider must return credentialing app within 5 business days of it being released.
◊ Will a licensing candidate be considered; IMLC (on hand) providers or MI active license required.
◊ Reason for coverage: locums from outside of the MSP were cancelled during credentialing
◊◊ Neurosurgery – is spine required: yes. Aneurysm clippings are not required
