Seeking a Locum Surgeon - Vascular Physician for a position based in Suffolk, VA. The role entails clinic coverage two days per week, with the remainder dedicated to hospital coverage, including possible weekend shifts. The call ratio averages 2-4 nights per week and may vary. The physician will manage an average of 3 cases per day, utilizing the Epic documentation system. The office is supported by a team including 3 PSRs, 1 surgery scheduler, 2 CMAs, 1 LPN, 1 vascular tech, and 2 part-time MDs overseen by an RN/practice manager. Required procedures include aneurysm repairs, thoracic and abdominal surgeries, arterial bypass, peripheral interventions, vascular access devices, and AV shunt procedures.

Qualifications:

· Board certification in Vascular Surgery.

· Active VA medical license.

· DEA certification.

· BLS/ACLS.
