About the opportunity:

• Work alongside experienced providers, including 2 Physicians and 1 Physician Assistant
• The facility boasts a collaborative and supportive environment
• The General Surgeon will be responsible for performing a variety of general surgical procedures, including skin lesion excisions, gall bladder removal, hernia repair, advanced laparoscopy (including colon resection), endoscopy/colonoscopy, and ideally, breast biopsies
• Daily caseload typically ranges from 6-10 cases or 15-18 outpatient visits
• Monday through Friday with shared call duties 1:3
• Vascular surgery is not included in this role
• Community, not-for-profit, acute care, critical access hospital
• Serving the health needs of over 30,000 people and employing over 700 dedicated staff
