Job Description
Offering an exceptional opportunity in the heart of Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, Carilion Clinic (CC) and the Department of Surgery, Section of General Surgery, are searching for an ABS/AOA-BE/BC General Surgeon to a join a well-established practice with one other experienced surgeon and one advanced care practitioner at Carilion Rockbridge Community Hospital, a state-of-the-art 25-bed acute-care critical access facility in Lexington, VA.
Among the many positive aspects of this "bread and butter" surgical position are:
Broad spectrum of quality general surgery and endoscopic services
Typically, light night and weekend call from home
Surgical clinic is next door and an easy 3-minute walk from the hospital
Established referral base
Opportunity to participate in teaching and to join the faculty of the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine
