Employed General Surgery position For Regional Model!
McLaren Bay Region is recruiting a General Surgeon to join our excellent team of providers in Bay City and Mt. Pleasant Michigan. This is an employed position to support a regional model and partner with a group of board-certified General Surgeons. Support a growing community and increased demand for services in the Great Lakes Bay & Central Region.
This opportunity offers a diverse case mix, collegial environment, expert operations management and strong support from hospital administration and marketing development to ensure practice growth. This practice shares trauma call coverage at our McLaren Bay Hospital with four general surgeons. Convenient practice location a short drive from the Bay hospital campus.
McLaren Bay Region is a level 3 trauma center and offers 12 operating rooms, a hybrid operating room, and state of the art robotic technology with the daVinci Surgical System. Board certification or eligible, ATLS and ACLS certification required. Experienced trauma skills highly desirable. New graduates are welcome to apply.
Additional privileging will be required at our long-term acute care hospital located less than five miles from McLaren Bay Region. McLaren Bay Special Care is a 31-bed long-term acute care hospital specializing in the care and treatment of patients with complex medical needs that requires lengths of stay greater than 25 days. The experienced staff are highly trained and use a team approach to provide intensive, individualized treatment. The hospital is licensed by the Michigan Department of Community Health and is accredited by The Joint Commission.

McLaren Bay Region, is a 415-bed acute care hospital providing specialty, primary and preventative care located in Bay City, Michigan. Services include cardiovascular, neuroscience, women’s health, orthopedics, rehabilitation, home health and hospice care, EMS, and oncology.
