Bon Secours Vein and Vascular is looking for a Temporary Vascular Surgeon for coverage to fill gaps in the schedule!
Open dates:
- As soon as credentialed - December 2024
- Reason for Coverage: Not fully staffed with full time MD.
- Practice Setting: Office with clinic 2 days per week, covering the hospital the rest of the time, possible weekend coverage needed.
- Call Ratio: 2-4 call nights per week, can vary.
- Average Number of Cases Per Day: 3
- Documentation System/EMR: Epic
- Annual ER Volume: unknown
- Number of Operating Rooms: 6 main OR,2 CVT OR, Hybrid room with 2 cath lab.
- Description of Ancillary Staff: office staff/ 3 PSR, 1 surgery scheduler, 2 CMA, 1 LPN, 1 vascular techs, 2 part time MD's, RN/practice manager
- With Hemodialysis Access.
- Patient Age Demographic: adult - geriatric
- REQUIRED PROCEDURES:
Aneurysm repairs, Thoracic, Abdominal, Arterial bypass, Peripheral, Vascular Access Devices, AV shunt
Endovascular Surgery Procedures Required: Carotid Artery Stenting, Bypass Surgery, Femoral Popliteal Bypass, Aortofemoral Bypass Stenting, Endovenous Laser Therapy Treatment, Carotid Artery Stenting, Bypass Surgery, Femoral Popliteal Bypass, Aortofemoral Bypass, Stenting, Endovenous Laser Therapy Treatment, Endovascular and Open Surgical Reconstruction for Deep Vein Occlusions
Treatment of: Vascular Malformations, Median Arcuate Ligament, Nutcracker Syndromes
Endovascular Therapy Required: Peripheral Artery Disease, Gangrene of the limb - Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 2-3 months for full privileges, temp privs available
