- Clinical Information:
- Support Staff: 3 Nurses, 2 techs in GI Unit, and 1 GI Nurse Practitioner for hospital inpatient support
- EMR: Meditech
- Dedicated CICU - Separate PICU, but are only covering the cardiac program
- Level IV NICU
- There is typically an ADC in the CICU of 8-14
- Round with the team and as a back up to respond to emergencies, should not have to operate unless in an emergency typically to place a patient on ECMO
- Required:
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
- Current Flu Vaccine
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
- Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
- CV Surgeon Board Certification
- Peds Congenital Heart Surgery certificate
- ACLS, BLS
- ECMO
