UPMC Altoona Elite Orthopaedics is recruiting an Orthopedic Surgeon with interest and experience in shoulder/elbow to step into a fully established practice with high volume patient base. The practice cares for patients referred from 70+ primary care physicians and the Hospital’s emergency and trauma departments. Must have an MD or equivalent, be BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license.
- Join a full-service practice with 5 orthopedic surgeons, 9 Physician Assistants and a non-surgical sports medicine physician
- Trauma call 1:5
- Practice call 1:5
- In-office imaging and PACS/EMR system
- Newly constructed 90,000 sq ft medical office complex
- Hospital has 12 ORs; Ambulatory Surgery Center had 4 ORs
- Team physicians for local Division 1 University
