Job Summary:

Methodist Healthcare is assisting with recruitment efforts for a general surgeon to join a busy and well-established practice in San Antonio, TX.

Qualified Candidates:
  • Board certified or board eligible in general surgery
  • Robotics available
  • Bread and butter general surgery: call expectations of 5 days per month, covering 1 ER/hospital
  • Texas medical license or be eligible for licensure in Texas
  • New grads and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply!

About Methodist Hospital-Westover Hills & Methodist Healthcare System:
  • 54 bed facility opening November 2024, conveniently located near highway 151 and loop 1604 corridor
  • 10 labor & delivery rooms; 4 NICU beds; 2 C-section suites
  • 15 bed emergency room with trauma room
  • 8 bed ICU
  • Service lines to include adult & pediatric emergency, OBGYN, robotics- assisted surgery, cardiovascular, orthopedics, surgery, pulmonary, and GI
