General Surgery opening - Waterloo, IA J1/H1b Eligible *Seeking candidates with interest/experience in Breast or Thyroid, along with B&B General Surgery.* Position Details

  • Full-time, permanent
  • 204-bed, community hospital
  • Inpatient/outpatient
  • Excellent specialty support including well-established interventional radiology, Urologist, Ob/Gyn, pulmonary critical care, cardiothoracic, cardiology, GI, hospitalist, and neurosurgery
  • Strong Primary Care referral base
  • 31 bed ED and Level III designated area trauma Center
  • Block OR scheduling with add on time and open scheduling available - 8 General OR and 1 CVOR & UMP-ASC 4 OR and 2 procedure rooms
  • State-of-the-art diagnostic and robotics (Da Vinci XI)
  • 12 Bed ICU with Intensivist
  • Award winning heart hospital, primary stroke center, and accredited chest pain center
